1 cup coconut cream
1 teaspoon salt

Step 1
Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil, continuously stirring or whisking, allowing the sugar to melt.
Step 2
After boiling for 10 minutes, the caramel should thicken slightly. Don’t worry if it’s too runny – it will thicken once it cools.
Step 3
Remove from heat and allow to cool. Store the caramel sauce in an airtight container in the fridge.
