Want a delicious and nutritious vegan meal but don’t have the time or energy to cook? Then let these meal delivery services lighten the load!

I love cooking. I really do. But not on weeknights after a long day at work, and not when I have time constraints. And y’know, sometimes, I just have plans. So really, this should make me the poster girl for meal delivery services!

Allow me to discuss the best options for fresh, ready-to-heat-and-eat meals delivered practically straight to your mouth. Eating varied, plant-based, health-conscious meals could not be easier!

8 veg-friendly meal delivery services to try

1. Soulara

This 100% plant-based meal-delivery service has 50+ meals to select from, allowing you to choose as much variety as you wish. I recommend trying one of everything before settling on your faves. A healthy diet includes all the colours of the rainbow, so be sure to keep things bright.

And for those who may have previously used the services of the sadly now-defunct HerbiDoor, you’ll be pleased to hear that the team behind Herbi’s favourite meals have handed over some of their most treasured recipes to Soulara, so you’ll still be able to get your fix.

Soulara deliver nationwide. Visit their website here.

2. Eat Iku

From humble beginnings as a small eatery in Glebe to a popular online vegan meal delivery service, Eat Iku has honed its most popular dishes over the last 35 years and is now bringing them straight to your door.

Their menu covers everything you could possibly need: breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, snacks, salads, soups, and even cold-pressed juices. If you’re so inclined, there is also an expertly curated menu of accompaniments to choose from; fermented vegetables, jams, relishes, and dressings all allow for some extra zhuzhing at meal times.

Eat Iku deliver to NSW, VIC, ACT, & QLD. You can visit their retail eatery at Martin Place Foodcourt in Sydney. Check out their website here.

3. Garden of Vegan

All of Garden of Vegan’s meals are vegan, organic, and naturally free from oil, gluten, and refined sugars. They focus on providing fresh and healthy meals that are big on flavour for everyone to enjoy.

As with Eat Iku, Garden of Vegan caters well for all mealtimes while also boasting a specialised gourmet section for those nights that you want some fancy, high-class cuisine without any fuss.

If you feel like cooking, they also sell produce boxes and whole food pantry staples. But hey, don’t force yourself – they’ve made drool-worthy ready meals so you don’t have to. It’d almost be rude to cook 😉

4. Vegan Soul

Formerly operating as Vegan Lebanese Street Food in Bondi, these lovely folks restructured their business in late 2023 to allow Vegan Soul to bring their much-loved food to even more people. While keeping the Lebanese classics like falafel, babaganoush, loubieh, and shawarma, they’ve diversified their menu to include a wider range of cuisines now, too.

For those who enjoy plant-based meats, there is a decent range of ‘chicken’ and ‘beef’ options available in curries, stews, and wraps, as well as plenty of whole-food options.

Vegan Soul deliver to Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. Visit their website here.

5. Pam Pam

Thai-born Pamela is the brains behind this pan-Asian plant-based meal delivery service. Offering fresh and snap-frozen meals, Pam Pam offers almost 40 dishes with flavours from Thailand, Korea, China, Malaysia, Japan, and more.

There’s a range of wholefood and plant-based meat options available to suit everyone’s needs, plus great deals on meal bundles to help make your dinners as affordable as they are delicious.

If you love Asian cuisines but don’t necessarily want to eat from this region for every meal, I’d recommend at least popping in a Pam Pam order now and then to keep your freezer stocked. You’ll be glad you did.

Pam Pam delivers to NSW, VIC, and QLD. You can visit their website here.

6. Wholistically Healthy

This Perth-based meal delivery service is not completely vegetarian, but it has enough vegan options that it’s worth giving it a shot. As the name would suggest, the business is strongly focused on health, with ayurvedic philosophies at its core. This is a great find for the West Coast!

Wholistically Healthy delivers to Perth Metro. You can visit their website here.

7. Vege2Go

With less of a focus on healthy eating and more on the comforting flavours of Italian fare, Vege2Go is another restaurant that isn’t entirely vegan but has a drool-worthy selection of options.

Notably, it’s the first service I’ve found to have a vegan codfish option, which deserves some big props from the seafood-lover-turned-veg folks out there. You can also pick up some specialty retail items for delivery, such as jelly, dessert pudding, and dairy-free ricotta.

Plus, many of the offerings are labelled suitable for those following a low-FODMAP diet, so it’s a double win for those with additional dietary requirements!

Vege2Go deliver to Melbourne and Sydney, metro and regional. You can visit their website here.

8. Just Add Vegan

This Sydney service offers weekly ready-to-eat meals, meal kits, and some sweet treats. With a regularly rotating menu, you can try different heat-and-eat meals from their menu every week. You might come for the mushroom stroganoff, but trust me, you’ll stay for the lentil moussaka.

Alternatively, you can grab their meal kits if recipe inspiration is the only thing keeping you from cooking.

Just Add Vegan deliver to NSW, ACT, QLD and VIC. Visit their website here.

Looking for more veg meal delivery services?

As with any list, this is by no means exhaustive. Some of the bigger meal delivery services do cater to vegan diets, but have too small a range to earn a spot on this list. Others don’t cater at all, but if you come across one of these that you would’ve liked to order from because they’re conveniently located in your area, it can’t hurt to put in a kind request that they consider adding some vegan offerings to their menu!
