Terms and Conditions

Promoter

  • The promoter is Animals Australia Limited (ACN 617 080 387) of 37 O’Connell Street, North Melbourne, Victoria, 3051, trading as VegKit.com (Promoter).

Competition Period

  • The start date is 2 November 2026 at 12:00 AM AEDT and the end date is 6 December 2026 at 11:59 PM AEDT (Competition Period).
  • Entries received after the Competition Period will not be considered.

Eligibility

  • Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or older.
  • Employees, directors, management, and immediate family members of the Promoter are ineligible to enter.
  • Participants must remain subscribed to the VegKit.com email database at the time of the prize draw to be eligible to win.

How to Enter

  • To enter, during the Competition Period participants must:
  • Complete and submit the entry form on the Promoter’s website or social media pages with their name and email address (phone number is optional); and
  • Agree to be subscribed to receive ongoing communications from VegKit.com (including the Nanna Diaries journey).
  • Strictly one (1) entry per person. Duplicate entries using the same email address or phone number will be disqualified.

Prize Details

  • The prize is one (1) ‘Nanna’s Favourite Things Hamper’ containing a selection of food items, ingredients (including vermouth for cooking), colour-branded kitchen utensils, Nanna’s recipe booklet, additional educational booklets, a Bunnings gift voucher, a pig plush toy, and related merchandise.
  • Total prize value is up to $550 AUD (inc. GST) for the hamper contents, plus up to $80 AUD for delivery/freight costs depending on the winner’s residential location in Australia. The total maximum prize pool value is $630 AUD.
  • The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash.

Winner Selection and Notification

  • The draw date is 7 December 2026.
  • The winner will be drawn at random using a computer-generated random selection tool at Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
  • The winner will be notified via email (and phone, if provided) within two (2) business days of the draw.
  • If the winner cannot be contacted, does not respond, or is found to be unsubscribed from the VegKit.com email database by 14 December 2026 at 11:59 PM AEDT, the Promoter reserves the right to perform an unclaimed prize redraw at the same place as the original draw.
  • Because the cooking ingredients include alcoholic cooking vermouth, before the Promoter sends the prize, the winner must verify they are 18 years of age or over by showing valid identification (e.g., driver’s licence or passport) to a staff member of the Promoter via video call. The Promoter’s staff member will make a written record confirming the winner is 18 years of age or over, but the Promoter will not store the winner’s identification document or information contained in the document.

Privacy and Marketing Communications

  • By entering this competition, participants consent to the Promoter collecting their personal information (name, email, phone number) to conduct the giveaway, confirm entry, and provide a downloadable digital copy of Nanna’s Recipe Booklet.
  • Participants expressly consent to being added to the VegKit.com customer relationship management (CRM) database and receiving ongoing promotional and marketing communications (including the Nanna Diaries email journey).
  • Participants may opt-out or unsubscribe at any time after the prize draw using the ‘Unsubscribe’ link included in every email.
  • The Promoter will handle personal information in accordance with its privacy policy located at https://www.vegkit.com/privacy-policy/.

No Liability

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, participants to the giveaway expressly release the Promoter and its personnel from all liability relating to the giveaway.
  • The Promoter is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, or misdirected entries resulting from technical glitches, server failures, or internet disruptions.
  • The Promoter’s decision regarding all aspects of the giveaway is final, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding any disputes.
  • The giveaway and promotion is in no way sponsored by, endorsed by, administered by, or associated with any social media platform or email marketing platform. Participants acknowledge that these platforms have no liability associated with the giveaway.
