This super simple tahini chocolate slice is dense, fudgy, and rich. A doughy biscuit-style foundation, layered with a smooth, nutty cream, blanketed with a layer of dark chocolate. But the best part is, this no-bake dessert is as easy to make as it is addictive.
Line a small, shallow container with baking paper.
Step 2
Prepare the first layer by combining in a bowl the oat flour, maple syrup, melted coconut oil, and salt, mixing until a thick paste forms.
Step 3
Press the mixture evenly into the lined container, smoothing the surface, then place in the freezer for 15 minutes to firm up.
Step 4
In the same bowl, prepare the tahini layer by mixing together the tahini, melted coconut oil, maple syrup, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Step 5
Remove the base from the freezer, pour over the tahini mixture, and spread evenly. Return to the freezer for another 15 minutes.
Step 6
Once the filling is set, pour over the melted dark chocolate, spreading it evenly across the surface, then sprinkle with a pinch of salt. Place back in the freezer for a final 15 minutes, or until fully set.
Step 7
Slice, serve, and enjoy! Store leftovers in the fridge.
Variation
Try crumbling and sprinkling a few freeze-dried raspberries into that choc layer before it sets if you want to make it look a bit festive or fancy!
