If you’re after a breakfast that feels light but actually fills you up, this easy hemp protein yoghurt bowl does the trick! Creamy yoghurt, fresh fruit, and a bit of crunch — plus sneakily packed with protein to carry you through the morning.
You will need
Serves 4
3 cups unsweetened coconut yoghurt
4 scoops (130 grams) hemp gold protein powder
4 tablespoons chia seeds
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 cup plant-based milk
To serve:
2 bananas, sliced
2 cups fresh berries
4 tablespoons peanut butter
4 tablespoons hemp seeds
4 tablespoons cacao nibs or dairy-free chocolate, crushed (optional)
In a large mixing bowl, combine the yoghurt, Hemp Gold protein powder, chia seeds, vanilla extract, and plant-based milk. Stir until smooth and creamy, then let sit for 5-10 minutes to thicken slightly as the chia seeds absorb moisture.
Step 2
Divide the yoghurt base evenly between 4 serving bowls.
Step 3
Layer each bowl with banana slices, fresh berries, a spoonful of peanut butter, and a sprinkle of hemp seeds and cacao nibs or chocolate if using. Finish with a drizzle of maple syrup if desired.
