Say (vegan) cheese! Crunchy, golden, and packed with savoury goodness, this plant-based parmesan-style topping takes any dish up a notch. Sprinkle it over pasta, roasted veggies, or anything you like for some extra flavour and crunch!
You will need
Serves 1
80g plant plant-based butter
3 stale bread slices, blitzed into a crumb (gluten-free if required)
Place the butter into a pan over medium heat to melt, then add the breadcrumbs and toast.
Step 2
When the crumbs start to golden, add all other ingredients (excluding the chives) and keep cooking until golden brown, being careful not to burn.
Step 3
Once the mixture is perfect, pour it into a bowl, then add the chives and mix together. The warmth will release the wonderful aromas of the chives. Yum!
