Cooking plant-based options for Christmas just got a whole lot easier ✅ Now you can order a Just Add Vegan festive meal kit straight to your door!
With the festive season right around the corner and knock-out Christmas menus just waiting to be planned, anyone wondering what vegan options to cook this year has just been given the best gift of all…

Following on from the success of their meal kits last year, Just Add Vegan has launched their 2025 vegan Christmas meal kits and ready-made dishes, which can be delivered right to your door in NSW, ACT, QLD, SA, VIC & WA.
The plant-based meal delivery service is on a mission to streamline your Christmas meal prep, so you can spend less time roleplaying as a kitchen elf and more time enjoying the festivities!
Christmas should be about joy, not kitchen stress. We created this menu so people can celebrate with delicious food that feels good in every way — for their health, and for the planet.

Whether you’re catering for vegetarian or vegan guests, hosting a fully plant-based feast, or dining solo, these new festive meal options take all the guesswork out of menu planning — guaranteed to show off just how indulgent and satisfying vegan dishes can be.

Just Add Vegan has structured their Christmas meals in a way that allows you to order your sides, main, and dessert separately (which may be helpful if you only need to cover part of the festive spread). Highlights include:
Alternatively, you can order ‘The Lot’, which includes a roast of your choice, all six sides and the trifle, plus a cheat sheet for whipping up a gloriously plant-based feast in the shortest time possible.
In great news for anyone catering to extra dietary requirements — there are gluten-free options, too!
And if you’re looking to cover some extra snacks, there’s a fancy vegan cheese board available to add on to your feast, featuring artisanal cheeses from The Vegan Dairy, Artisa, and Vegusto, alongside a smorgasbord of crackers, walnuts, grapes, and fig mustard.
Sold? Get your order in by Wednesday 10th of December, and your meal kit will be delivered on the 22nd or 23rd of December (location dependent), just in time for the big day.

Don’t worry, you are more than covered! This year there’s also a Christmas feast for one — a complete meal of turkey-style roast, scalloped potato bake, green beans and maple-glazed carrots with rich gravy. Perfect for singles, smaller households, or anyone wanting to taste Christmas with zero effort. Or why not just treat yourself to a festive extension and save this treasure for Boxing Day? Go on — you’re worth it!

It’s not just Christmas-themed meal kits that Just Add Vegan offers — they also deliver delicious plant-based meal kits, everyday ready meals, and vegan products across Australia all year round.
“Over the years we have developed a repertoire of over 300 meal-kit recipes, so our customers never get bored. One of the things that really set us apart are our unique house-made sauces and spice mixes that give each of our recipes their distinct flavour. This is something we hear back from customers time and time again.”
The plant-powered power couple behind the brand, Padma Lianos and Arthur Voorwinden, say they aim to make eating vegan as simple and accessible as possible.
“We’re on a mission to inspire and make it easy for people to cook delicious and nutritious plant-based food, with the purpose of creating a happier, healthier and fairer world.”
When they met by chance at a meditation course in the UK in 2012, Lianos and Voorwinden discovered they shared a lifelong passion for food and a desire to make the world a better place — and were soon planning to get married and launch a vegan food business together.

In 2018, they left their corporate careers overseas and returned to Lianos’ homeland, Australia. After pivoting their business idea several times due to pandemic-related challenges, they proudly launched Just Add Vegan in 2021 as a health-focused, 100% plant-powered meal-kit delivery service — the first of its kind in Australia.
And the rest is delicious, nutritious history, with further evolutions yet to come for their budding vegan business.
“We have everything in place to become a household brand for those who want to incorporate more plants into their diet,” says Lianos.
“We offer better flavours, higher nutritional value, and more choice than the big foreign brands. In addition, we are 100% Australian family-owned, purpose-driven, and more sustainable. These factors increasingly drive consumer choice and brand loyalty.”
According to a recent Griffith University study, as many as 25% of Australians aspire to plant-forward diets — primarily for the health benefits, but also for environmental and animal welfare concerns.
The only problem, Voorwinden says, is that some people feel too busy to learn how to cook differently, or to menu-plan, and that’s where a plant-based meal delivery service like Just Add Vegan can help.
We stand for food that is good for you and good for the planet.
Sustainability is central to the brand’s ethos, with most of its meal kit ingredients packaged in paper bags and wood-based cellophane instead of plastic.

So there you have it – if you’d rather skip all the actual menu planning this festive season, but still want to impress your loved ones with a hearty and flavourful plant-based feast, one of Just Add Vegan’s holiday meal kits or ready-to-eat options could be the Christmas miracle you’ve been waiting for. Having grown up in a “meat and 3 veg” kind of household, Liv’s embarrassed to admit that she was a bit of a one-note chef until she began exploring the world of plant-based food. Vegan cooking has given her a whole new appreciation for the symphonies of flavours that simple, nourishing wholefood ingredients can create. (Even eggplant, once her greatest nemesis, is now — in a delicious, miso-glazed redemption arc — her all-time favourite veg.)
